Who we are
Waterfall Hill Consulting was founded by Kate Hill (née Waterfall) after working for small businesses for over 15 years.
Kate was appointed as Managing Director of PR and sports marketing consultancy, Craigie Taylor International in 1998, and became Chief Operating Officer of GEM Group, Europe in 2002. When the senior management of GEM mounted a management buy-out in 2005, Kate was MD and was part of the MBO team which successfully found investors and wrestled the business from its AIM listed plc owners.
As Chief Operating Officer of brandRapport Ltd (a sponsorship, sports marketing and PR agency) Kate was responsible for the operations of the 40+ employee company. She continues to provide consultancy support to brandRapport, chiefly in the areas of HR, legal work and special projects. She is also a non-exec director and Company Secretary of Steam Dreams, a company which operates steam train days out.
Kate graduated from the University of Bath with a BSc (Hons) in Business Administration.
Kate oversees the management of all client projects herself, and uses consultants to provide additional support or specialist expertise. From CIPD-qualified HR consultants to non-exec directors with 25 years’ business experience, from freelance project managers to IT service providers, from venture capital investors to office furniture suppliers, Waterfall Hill has contacts in all walks of life to provide support and advice to each client as relevant.
